So this AU is similar to the AU in the actual show with Sven where the Altean are the bad guys. So the same plot goes, The comment hits Zarkons planet, Honerva and Zarkon fall in love, they get saved by Voltron, they are presumed dead. Though this is where it changes, Alfor finds out they are still alive, saves Honerva cause she was with child, kills Zarkon, but actually does that control thing like how the altean did with creatures that didn’t obey them. And Honerva/ Allura/ and Lotor didn’t know. Alfor starts to study more into what Honerva was trying to find, thus also wanting to rule other planets and being immortal. So I think I finally come up with a cohesive (maybe) story for this AU. Now I have done this scene with Honerva twice and I thought to combine the one of her orange and red look with this one of her in that dream kind of realm into the same AU. In this scene she was finding Zarkon, who died by the hands of Alfor but really didn’t (explain in next post), and somehow tried to find him through her mind thing idk and she couldn’t or she did for a bit but couldn’t really reach him. Back at it again with Honerva, I promise you’ll see something different soon but you know 🤩 how much I love drawing her. Now what I loved was idk what season it was but it was the episode when Shiro was learning about Zarkons past, and the Black Lion was showing him flashbacks and stuff. Well there were a few appearances of Honerva, vaguely but she was there and I loved the little detail in that episode. So I had the thought of, what if that brief moment we see that outfit, during that one scene in season 8 (image on next slide) be apart of this AU where Zarkon died. It fits. But to continue what I was taking about in the last post. I’m thinking, zarkon didn’t really die. Dibazl died, the planet is gone but Honerva still rules in space and works with Altea. But Alfor was hiding info from her And Lotor about what happened to her and Zarkon. Zarkon didn’t actually die when he entered the rift, but that he was going to become like how main Zarkon was but Alfor killed him before that could happen. And was able to save Honerva. Ima continue it in the next post cause it’s too long. First off, this came out freaking amazing ✨✨✨🤩🤩🤩, like what. Second, this was going to have teenage Lotor but it didn’t look right, and then I was going to add adult Lotor but then just decided to scrape the Lotor Idea and just leave Honerva. Now I did this version of her a while ago. Where the whole story behind it was that Zarkon died and Honerva became Empress of the Galra, until Lotor became of age. So more background -The story plays as of canon, Honerva and Zarkon meet because of the commit. She gets overwhelmed by quintessence. To save her Zarkon has to put her in the rift, but Zarkon “dies” and Honerva is still alive and Alfor saves her. Though she is still conflicted by the entity.
