I thought I better add some context to my stories 🤣 • We are finally back in Portugal after 4 years (thank you covid) and it’s the first time we’ve been able to stay at our family home in about 6 years. This was my grandparents house, they lived here practically all of my life. My Dad inherited it & we talked about all the things we would do once we could get here, unfortunately my Dad has not been able to see it through so it’s now up to me to put the love back in. Dreaming of warmer days & the buzz of bees in my garden. A garden is the one thing I miss from our move, I’ve always had one even in rentals but 5 bed houses are difficult to find and if it had a garden…it had fields up here 😂 So my front corner & little courtyard are what we have, and although they aren’t big (or private in the front) they have things my old gardens didn’t. 1. My from garden has sun from morning to night, it is quite literally bathed in it when it’s out. 2. I can watch the kids play in the street with friends and hear laughter throughout summer. 3. It’s big enough for us and our neighbours, who without a front garden we wouldn’t have got to know so quickly. 4.
