Maui, our sweet and proper lady Maui found me when I was working at Royal Pacific resort on Universal property, in my 20s. We had feral cats on property that friend and I would TNR. One day Maui appeared out of nowhere and was trying to get into the hotel itself. We had never seen her before and a feral cat would not be trying to get in. I gave her some pets and then headed into work but checked on her throughout the day. I went home that day and couldn’t get her out of my mind and talk to Steve about it. He agreed that we should go get her and she should live with us. Since we did TNR, we always had a carrier in our department. I called a coworker and asked him to put her in a carrier and we would be right there. She went straight to the vet and got chipped and a clean bill of health.
