This is due to many reasons such as FOMO or thinking you'll make a mistake.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But by far the main reason a bride can't choose a dress is because of her entourage.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Wedding shows make you think you have to bring every female member of the family and every friend you've ever had.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The problem with bringing a big entourage is that every single person will have their own opinion on every dress you try on and trust me they won't all be the same!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Every dress will be dissected by every person there and before very long your head will be spinning.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They don't mean to do this but you know these girls, are they all likely to agree on one dress?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You see what happens is your helpers look at dresses they like and make comments accordingly. They don't mean to do this and are not deliberately trying to sabotage your choice of dress, in fact they think they are giving constructive criticism, it's just what happens!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When you've been publicly criticised for one and a half hours, "your bum looks big in that, it emphasises your belly, it shows your bingo wings, I wouldn't wear that, I can see back fat", I could go on and on, you'll start feeling insecure about every part of your body.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So think very wisely about who you bring to your appointment. If your sister, or whoever, is very opinionated and will force you to make decisions you don't feel comfortable with leave them at home. Only bring the people who's opinion really matters to you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In my opinion 2 to 3 guests who are on the same wavelength as you is plenty. Have you ever heard the saying "too many cooks”?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The reality is choose a dress YOU love because when everyone sees you on your big day they will all love it anyway!
You know they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder ...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ... but what they don't say is that beholder can be YOU!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I was at school I had a best friend and we did everything together. We went to the local disco together, we went shopping together and we stayed in together.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But as we got older I began to notice something.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Every time we got ready to go out, before we left the house her mum used to spend ages telling her how beautiful she looked.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Over the years she began to believe she was beautiful and you know what, everyone else believed she was beautiful too.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You see the fact that she was told she was beautiful every day gave her the confidence to face everyone knowing she was beautiful and what anyone else said didn't really matter.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So take a leaf out of my friend's book. Look in the mirror every day and tell yourself you are beautiful and before you know it you will believe it too and you'll be ready to face anything with the confidence that will bring.

ABROAD!!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But to brides this means they can think of booking honeymoons or even destination weddings ... yeaaah!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So where would you want to go?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For me I just want to go somewhere hot!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It seems a lifetime since I had the chance to relax in the sun and although you could argue as I’ve not been able to work for months I’ve had plenty of time to relax.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But during lockdown I’ve been very busy ...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The boutique has been redecorated and is now, bright and airy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve attended loads of training sessions so I can make your experience in my boutique the best it can be.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And to top it all I’m in the middle of a rebrand!! Enough is enough and as we approach the festive period we can only hope that it will resemble some form of normality.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But remember this can't last forever. It was so refreshing to see a groom who wanted to discuss colours and styles and how everything would match with THEIR vision of THEIR wedding.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I speak to my brides I always ask what their partner is wearing and most of the time they say they haven’t thought about it yet!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So why don’t you give them a chance?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ask them to be more involved. Should I wear perfume on my wedding day? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm not a great perfume wearer if I'm honest but that's mainly because I always forget to put it on not because I don't like it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In fact perfume has lots of qualities that are sometimes overlooked. It helps you smell fresh throughout the day, boosts your confidence, shows your individuality and it can even make you prettier. Yes that's a fact! Pleasant smells make female faces more attractive!!!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But the one property perfume has which is more important than all of these is "smell memory". Perfumes trigger memories and this is a very powerful thing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My nana always wore Opium because my dad worked abroad and he used to bring it back for her. It's quite a strong perfume but even now when I catch a smell I can remember her getting excited putting it on because perfume was an extravagance she would never afford herself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My mum wore Chloe. It's a sweet perfume and I probably would have worn it myself if she hadn't.
