Trials Vs Day of: I get asked all the time, is it ok if I wanted to change a couple things from my trial? A B S O L U T E L Y This is a perfect example... My bride was torn between two styles for her hair Half up with curls or a vintage glam with one side pinned back. She was more comfortable with her hair down so for the trial we did the half up. For her makeup she showed me 3 pictures while they were different in their dramatics they all had a shimmer or sparkle lid. She realized at the trial that maybe she was not a fan of the shimmery look after all. So we talked about the changes we’d make for the wedding day. Wedding day comes and after wearing her hair half up for the day she really would just like to try the other style she picked out. She felt like she’d be more comfortable since it’s more of the down style she’s used to. When we finished with everything it was everything that she hoped for and most importantly she felt beautiful. To my brides: At the end of the day, we are not mind readers and it’s ok not to love what you thought you’d love. Speak up...if you don’t like something say so. I want you to walk away feeling the most beautiful. I don’t want you to feel like you like it, but... Maybe you don’t have the right words to explain. That’s ok.
