Sisters 🤍 following the nicest review yesterday from these girls lovely mom, I thought that these beautiful photos of them all deserved to be on my grid 🤍 They were absolute superstars for their session with their brand new baby sister. My personal preference is to have a newborn photoshoot between 5-14 days, when they are tiniest. Newborn photoshoot can be done up to 6 weeks old. This is the perfect time to capture those beautiful sleepy poses before they grow in the blink of an eye. When is it best to book a newborn photoshoot? I take bookings from a 20 week scan onwards. A provisional date will be provided to ensure your space is guaranteed. Siblings 🤍🤍 I have had lots of siblings in the studio recently. Capturing these images are so special, photographing the bond and love the older sibling already has for their new brother or sister! I always try and make the session fun for the older sibling and as natural as possible to keep them engaged and also to get those natural smiles and expressions. I find it so important to take time to talk to your eldest so the focus isn’t just on your new baby. You normally find me chatting and playing with them if your baby needs a feed. Yesterday I had my first outdoor session of the year, a bit chilly but so so worth it! I first met Abbey & Rich almost 3 years ago for my very first outdoor maternity session just a few weeks before they welcomed little Abel in to the world, I then had the pleasure of retuning for his newborn session when he was just 5 days old, Christmas session & first birthday cake smash, so when I received the message from Abbey to say she was welcoming another little bundle in to the world I was absolutely over the moon for them, and even happier that she asked me back to capture them all again for their maternity & newborn session.
