Happy Friday friends! Brayonna's bridal details...were stunning ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As brides ourselves, we both find it funny that the vision we had for our wedding dresses going into our appointments was NOTHING like what we ended up going with. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Quite often we are looking at images where the model might not have the same body shape as us, which means that what might look good on someone else, might not look good on us and vice versa. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So while having an overall vision is good, it’s important to keep an open mind to shape and details until you’ve actually had a chance to try them on. Remember, finding the perfect wedding dress for your body shape is going to be different than someone else’s experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Our best advice is to have fun trying on all kinds of different silhouettes and styles during your appointment - you may be surprised at which one you end up falling in love with!

This has been a BIG Spring season over here at Envy AND for me personally so here is a little update on my corner of the world: -Before the wedding season took off, my husband and I took a little roadtrip-getaway to @chateau_elan in Georgia! It was so beautiful, and reminded me how much I’ve missed traveling this past year! -I joined my partner in crime, @jessiehilbert , as she found her dream wedding dress @thebridalfinery ! -My son, Waylon, turned 1 on April 7th! So bitter-sweet and emotional! For all you mama’s out there who can relate?! -I turned 30! My husband and friends surprised me with the sweetest get together at one of my favorite places, @wekivaisland -And last weekend, I got to fly back to Milwaukee, my hometown for the first time in over a year to introduce Waylon to his great-grandparents AND to Celebrate my besties, Bachelorette weekend! @mofitnessandhealth Cheers to a great Spring! Having a solid Wedding Day Timeline goes a long way for your Big Day. The most important thing to us on the day of your wedding is that our clients don’t stress! It’s our job to make sure that we have taken the reins and are in complete control of the logistics of the day so that our couple can focus on CELEBRATING with each other and with their loved ones 🍾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you are a bride or groom that has decided to forgo having a wedding planner, the goal is still to have everything as organized as possible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are our FIVE steps for creating a solid Wedding Day Timeline: ✨Brainstorm Without worrying about assigning times just yet, take a moment to brainstorm with your partner what traditions and special moments you’d like to include on your Big Day. Decide if you and your sweetheart would like to have a first look, cut a cake, trade letters you’ve written, etc. ✨Vendor Coordination Consult your vendors on their arrival times and length of time needed for set up. ✨Determine Your “Bookends” Determine your ceremony time and event end time. These are important bookends for your wedding day. Once you’ve determined the start and end time, then you can fill everything else in. Start by working forward from your ceremony start-time to determine the flow of the rest of the evening. ✨Fill-In the Blanks Next, work backwards from your ceremony time to fill in the rest. Many of you have been asking which vendors I'm using, what colors I'm doing, how I'm doing this, how I'm doing that, so I just thought I'd share a little bit on what vendors I have so far 🙌🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My vendor team - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @themulberrynsb @sydneymariephotography @colingoodman @puffnstuffcatering @gatherandgracedesigns @rjmentertainment @thebridalfinery ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A dream team ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But here’s a little advice for you all - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This planning process is stressful sometimes, but I've never let that stress get in the way of how exciting this season of life is for my fiancé Ben and I. Please, I ask you, don't let the little things get to you that much! Have so much fun with everything - my parents, future in-laws, friends and family have had so much fun with us so far and we are so grateful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If something doesn't work out, try again a different way. If you don't have time to do a wedding planning task after work one day, THAT'S OK! Give yourself grace, we are all busy. If a proposal or price isn't within your budget, seek other options - there's tons of us in this industry! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And of course, let me know if you ever need any help.
