I have been so wrapped up in new designs and updating the shop, that I dropped the ball. Not only was today my record breaking opening (I hit my limit in 33 minutes and ended up accepting a few more than normal because I felt bad 😂), but it was my 3rd shopiversary! 🎉 🎊 Goodness, where does the time go? Three years ago, I had just gotten back from Disneyland. I was never an ear wearer because of my migraines, but I wanted some ears to celebrate the diamond anniversary with comfortable bands. Fast forward to now and I’ve made over 3,000 pairs since that first day. I had no idea my new creative outlet would become my full time second job. Here’s where it gets mushy..... life is so crazy, y’all. That trip to Disneyland was with my husband. Just a year later, I was unexpectedly handed divorce papers on Christmas Eve. Not only did this shop give me the means to stand on my own two feet without fear, it gave me a network of like minded women, both shop owners and customers, who were a big source of strength for me. I can’t even begin to start tagging them, but they know who they are. The girl in this photo is the happiest she has ever been knowing that the world is filled with more good than people realize, and Disney is a big part of that for me. This community really is more than a photo collage, and I’m honored to be a part of it. I look forward to what is next for the shop. ✨
