Perhaps one of my favorite things about Hawai'i is eating OUTSIDE. I know that you can do that anywhere in the world but Hawai'i is one of the few places in the world with the sweet aroma of hibiscus and plumeria in the world. They are never overpowered by the salty ocean air.

As a matter of fact, you don't even smell the ocean when you visit Hawai'i! I was so shocked about that because at other mainland beaches you can't help but smell that super salty ocean. The ocean is clean and fresh in Hawai'i, even while you are actually there you don't smell it!
