I found out today that I'm not the best Orchid hunter in the family😳😆 I am good at telling people the areas to look for orchids...but spotting them....i leave that up to my beautiful wife and father in law...apparently i just take the photos.

Once you work out the vegetation and soil types, ground cover, leaf litter etc of Orchids you start to get a better understanding of where they might grow.
Like cracking the Orchid code!

After telling the father in law this and the area we might find the Warty Hammer Orchid, 10 minutes later he spotted this beauty.
