In so many ways the Lotus flower has played such a huge symbolic part in my life. Even when its roots are in the dirties waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower. The Lotus flower is a symbol of enlightenment which is a synonym for my name. It is a symbol of self-regeneration and rebirth. It is what I have tattooed on my shoulder. I have never been afraid of new beginnings, even if they're not the most attractive at first, new beginnings have always given me the chance to reinvent myself and explore new opportunities. I happened to come across this picture of this beautiful lotus flower we took at the gardens in The Alhambra and it instantly reminded me of that. New beginnings give you a chance to recreate yourself into something beautiful and exciting. .
