White Sands National Monument - New Mexico
When you have a limited number of days on the road each year to go in search of the most amazing light and landscapes your destination has to offer there is always going to be some trade-offs in terms of time and getting to the right spot on the right day. This was the case in White Sands earlier this year, I could have easily spent 3 more days exploring these fine white dunes and waiting for more ideal light, but alas we had destinations further down the road awaiting and only a single afternoon could we dwell on this spot.
