Before bringing my latest painting, COTTON TIME, to the gallery, I placed it on the dining room wall inside one of my vintage frames. Most all my paintings are the deep gallery wrapped canvases and I continue the scene by painting around the edges. I find that having it float on the wall inside an old frame is another interesting way of drawing the eye in to the artwork itself.
