These three could be members of the Cortinarius family, but who knows. I love to forage for mushrooms and then paint them! But I never have the patience to sit down and really look up what kind of shroom they are. Pretty near is good enough for me (and I don't eat them) 🙂
They were growing at the same spot in the mossy environment I visited a couple of days ago.
I am far more interested in capturing their colours and personalities!
And these three had me dig out some colours I normally not use.
From the right hand side of the paper;
1 - Olive Green and Light Red. Yes - green out of a tube 😱
2 - Perylene Maroon and Brown Madder. Ok, I use P. Maroon a lot, but not for red colours... And Brown Madder is not anything I use daily...
3 - Again P. Maroon, and Sepia!
I think I have to see this painting as a sketch, for future paintings. I was in a bit of a rush, don't know for how long they will keep up in the fridge 😜😄🍄
