I mean if you live in Kelowna and haven't given @gatherkelowna a try, what are you doing? I mean, it is fair that Korean/Italian fusion sounds odd and so many flavour and ingredient combinations on the menu genuinely feel like they shouldn't work. However, Chef Sung Ji Park has an incredibly deft hand and an uncanny ability to make the seemingly unworkable simply work.<br /><br />No filters applied or needed for this excellent lunch. <br /><br />Starting with a gorgeous, fresh and bright cherry tomato pesto salad. Pops of bright flavours with the berries, a rich and parmesan forward pesto, a velvety and bright lemon pea puree and great seasoning throughout. <br /><br />A fun appie of patate frittes with playful little fried gnocchi and an scrumptious gojuchang mayo.<br /><br />The main was tataki shirt rib steak which was perfectly succulent, lightly seared and gently flavored to be enhanced by the delicious bed of seasoned chick peas it sat on and the rich, sweet soy and black pepper sauce in the dish.
