When we first got at the gate the day before, we learned that we could not enter before sunrise. At first I was bummed but soon realised that this could be in my advantage. This place works best with direct light and a blue sky. I didn't need sunset or sunrise light.
As everyone queued up the following morning, we slept in. And when everyone left, we entered the gate. This ment that we were all alone at this magnificent place.
With @jokingtrojan being 31 weeks pregnant (and stubborn) we then climbed the highest dune in the world. Big daddy is 320 meters high and a tough hike in loose sand. But the views are phenomenal. But that is for the next post.
