Vanochtend at ik deze chocolade havermout pap, waarvan ik het recept graag met jullie deel. Ingrediënten: Pap: - Havermout 70 gram - Ongezoete Sojamelk 350 ml - Suiker 10 gram - Cacao 10 gram - Snufje zout Topping: - 1 Banaan - Zoute Pinda's 30 gram Bereidingswijze: 1. Doe alle ingrediënten voor de pap in een pan, mix goed en breng al roerend aan de kook. 2. Giet het in een kommetje en laat het een paar minuten staan. 3. Maak het af met een topping van banaan en pinda's en eventueel nog een klein beetje cacao. 4. Eet smakelijk!! Dit recept bevat 710 kcal, 91 gram koolhydraten, 28 gram vetten en 31 gram eiwitten. Gisteren deed ik mee aan de halve van Haren. Een prachtige halve marathon door het Groningse landschap. Leuke dorpjes, bossen, gravel paden en schitterend weer maakten het tot een geweldige run! Ik had mijzelf voor genomen mijn vorige tijd van 1 uur en 56 minuten te verbeteren. Dat is gelukt, ik deed deze run in 1 uur en 52 minuten. Mindset is key!! Voordat ik in december geopereerd werd (aan een liesbreuk) liep ik redelijk veel en vaak ook wat langere afstanden. Ook had ik al een halve gelopen (2 uur en 2 minuten). Na de kerstvakantie pakte in het rennen weer op, maar mijn conditie leek mij in de steek te hebben gelaten. Een hogere rusthartslag en sneller moe (waarschijnlijk door de algehele narcose). Dit ging echter in mijn hoofd spelen en hierdoor presteerde ik nog slechter. In mijn hoofd had ik al opgegeven. Tot vorige week, toen dacht ik ineens "als ik niet probeer heb ik sowieso verloren". En dus rende ik 16 km. Dit ging goed en daarmee was mijn zelfvertrouwen (en een hele bak spierpijn) terug. Gister avond liep ik samen met Gerwin de halve van de Nacht van Groningen. Het was prachtig weer en de route was heel leuk. We hebben de hele run veel lol gehad, wat op zo'n afstand ook veel doet. Moraal van dit verhaal is dat je in je hoofd enorme blokkades kunt opbouwen die je prestaties tegen werken. The coast of Namibia is littered with shipwrecks. This one was an illegal fishing vessel which was captured by the army. While they were towing it away, the line snapped after which it stranded. They left it there and now it is a haven for seabirds amidst the turbulent waters. Quite cool! Walking up with a huge load of snow around us was simply incredible! The night before, we parked up at a lake on the Hardangervidda plateau. Even though it was the middle of autumn, at this hight, winter had settled already! It was -8 and the lake froze overnight. When I got out, to shoot sunrise, the sky was covered with clouds, except in the East. Slowly the sky started to turn colour and eventually exploded (see a few posts earlier). It was unbelievable, and even one hour after sunrise, the sky was still really beautiful! Especially in combination with the blues and whites. What a morning, what a place!! While we were waiting at one of the watering holes, a large bull elephant suddenly entered the scene. Because it was rather windy, sand was flying around making it look quite dramatic. When we first got at the gate the day before, we learned that we could not enter before sunrise. At first I was bummed but soon realised that this could be in my advantage. This place works best with direct light and a blue sky. I didn't need sunset or sunrise light. As everyone queued up the following morning, we slept in. And when everyone left, we entered the gate. This ment that we were all alone at this magnificent place. With @jokingtrojan being 31 weeks pregnant (and stubborn) we then climbed the highest dune in the world. Big daddy is 320 meters high and a tough hike in loose sand. But the views are phenomenal. But that is for the next post. The "road" to this place was incredible and much fun to drive on, but photographing this place was rather hard! With the sun behind the rocks, the light was difficult to control, therefore I took multiple exposures. I wanted the ocean in the background as well, so I tried a lot of different compositions. Eventually, I got an image I quite like, but I had to work really hard for it! One of the things that struck me the most is the beautiful colours and texture of the rocks!! What a stunning place! One of the things in Namibia that struck me the most, was the beautiful gradient in the sky that happened every sunset and sunrise. Giants Playground is such an amazing place to walk around in. There is so much to see, explore, and photograph. These rocks are formed by volcanic activity, and due to erosion the soft sediment disappeared, leaving the blocks exposed. They look like they're stacked by giants. Really cool! There is no better place to sleep than under the stars! On our trip in Namibia, we slept in a rooftent on our @toyota #Hilux which we rented @ascocarhire. They provided us with a super complete kit and an incredible service!! Sleeping in a tent makes you connect with nature much more. You're more exposed to the elements and it is super healthy! Besides that... A milky way like this makes you want to be outside all the time!! When the sun peered over the horizon and the first rays of light were hitting the trees, I couldn't believe my eyes. Instead of orange, the sky first turned a blueish purple, as if it were blue hour. When the alarm went off, it was dark and cold. I still felt quite shaken by the 27 hours of traveling the day before. On the one hand I was reluctant to get out of bed, but on the other hand I was bursting with excitement. This sunset over the fjord was amazing. Because of the angle of the sun, the sunset lasted for over an hour, so I had plenty of time to try different things and compositions. After the sun had gone below the horizon, I used a @nisiglobal 6 stop #ND filter, to flatten out the slightly distracting movement of the water and to enhance the tones in the sky. Have you ever seen such a crazy sky? After shooting the image of my last post, it looked like it was all over. There was no way the sun would pierce through, and give us an epic sunset.... These boulders are unbelievable beautiful! There are so many details on them. Especially when they are wet. There is one thing though... Walking in between them is quite precarious! It is easy to sprain an ankle, but the best boulders are close to the water line. During this shoot, the sky was boring but that didn't really matter!
