Hii, my name is Lise Goedbloed. I'm from a small Village in the Netherlands and am currently studying coastal and marine management.
I am here on Koh Tao to do a 10 week internship program, during which I am able to learn a lot about marine conservation. Which is the field of work I am hoping to enter after I finish studying.
My favourite marine animals are the whale shark and boxfish. The whale shark is so mesmerizing, and the boxfish is just really cute :)
My favourite dives so far have been the coral safari's. It is really fun to be able to recognize different corals more and more.
I am thinking of contributing to the artificial Reef project, so I can learn more about coral restoration.
Koh tao is the most beautiful place I have been to so far; I love the tropical nature and the chill island life.
And lastly my advice for future conservationists: just go out there and take every opportunity you can to make the world a better place!
