Very uncommon up here are Sourwood trees (Oxydendrum arboreum), this bright red one. I’d always thought these were Black Cherry from the leaf shape but it’s ruby leaf color changed my mind so with @ashiz_ashiz and @domingojsalvato ‘s help with their plant ID apps we found out it’s Sourwood!!!!! #oxydendrumarboreum #sourwood #trees #watkinsglenstatepark #ruby #uncommontrees #nystateparks
