Finally! Although I need to half-drag my not too enthusiastic family, I managed to set my foot in the currently hip #museummacan to experience the art of #yayoikusama. As the most happening museum in #jakarta, you need to queue a lot here: at the entrance, and definitely before entering the signature, instagramable infinity mirror rooms. So, first tips: better buy the tickets online from their website to skip long lines in the ticket booths. Second, make time to check the Dos & Don'ts in their IG story before your visit to avoid any misbehaviour. Some of their rules are only handphone camera is allowed (without flash), and absolutely no tripod, monopod/selfie stick. You can't bring big bag inside, either. All stick rules are set to protect the creations, though. Anyway, as a not so artsy person, I must say that I pretty enjoy her works and don't mind joining a long line only to be in the infamous rooms for 15-25 seconds, 1 minute top! Because once you're in there, it's all worth it. Since you only have 2 hours to explore the museum, includes queueing up, so better make your time worthwhile. Ticket price: IDR 100K/adults, IDR 90K/students and IDR 80K/children under 12 year olds.
