Being married to an enterpreneur, I've been sort of familiar with business-related convos on daily basis, all my entire marriage life 😅 Therefore, I was pretty excited with #startupdrama, as each of the titles kind of validates what we've been discussing (and even practicing, for some of them) for these past years. Business-related terms/decisions in episodes like Key Man & Acqhire, to name a few, feel relatable as Hubby has applied them to his own business way before Han Ji-Pyeong taught them to his Hackathon Team 😁 So, what I was actually expecting from its new episodes is not really about who would end up being with Dal-Mi 😅 but what business decision will be suggested by the always logical Ji-Pyeoung, which will be practiced otherwise by the dreamer, annoyingly bull-headed Do-San, and how they managed to clean up the mess afterwards Speaking of which, Comfort Zone becomes my most favorite episode because one fatal decision leads Do-San & Dal-Mi to evolve as the best version of them self. Because, watching Do-San continually acts as if Dal-Mi the center of his universe for 10+ episodes is such a turn off, isn't it? Anyway, still go for Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo (for Nam Joo-Hyuk) and Vagabond (for Bae Suzy) over this, but highly appreciate Start-Up for the sets, scripts & character development. And I believe Ji-Pyeong and In-Jae deserve their own spin-offs. There's an excitement in discovering songs that haven't been discovered by so many people, therefore a part of my music taste goes for indie. Back in early 2000s, there were times when most of the songs on my playlist came from indie bands -- The Brandals, Sajama Cut, The Upstairs, Goodnight Electric, Santamonica, ten2five to name a few. Fast forward to 2 kids later, I no longer listened to them that often; some even dissapeared from my playlist. So it's a pleasant surprise when Hubby asked me to attend the 9th @musicgallery_, an annual (indie) music & arts festival held by @bsobandfebui, at #TenisIndoorSenayan & #PlazaBaratSenayan, last March 9th. At first, I hesitated to go because it's been too long since the last time I listened to this kinda music; I was worried I no longer related to the scene. However, seeing The Upstairs among the lineup was enough to convince me. So we went & here's some highligths: new-found favorite song: 'One Only' by @pamungkas and 'The Journey Starts Tonight' by @rumahsakitband. New-found favorite band: @elephantkind -- been obsessed with their songs -- 'I Believe In You', 'With Grace', 'Montage'. And FINALLY, I managed to see @theupstairs perform live! To my delight, they played my fave songs from them: 'Apakah Aku Ada di Mars... ', 'Disko Darurat', 'Dansa Akhir Pekan', 'Terekam (Tak Pernah Mati)'. Long story short, we had a blast! WARNING: might contain spoilers From his directorial debut #JanjiJoni to his short movie #AMothersLove, my experience with Joko Anwar's art has come to the point that whatever he sells, I'll buy, even when it ends up to be overhype. That's the case for #Gundala. Despite his best effort to kickstart a new genre, it turns out to be a hopeful but just okay debut. There's alas too many flaws to bear: weak logic, tiresome political-related issues and boring fight choreography to name a few. However, there's enough elements worth defending, too. The casts is a dream team (and Jokan's comfort zones). The villains are badass, despite some characters seems out of place. The scoring is awesome and powerful enough to lift any mood drops and get it back on track in some pivotal scenes. The visual effect is so much better than expected. But what keeps me on my seat the most is the easter eggs for the next #BumilangitCinematicUniverse #bcu projects: Chicco Jerikho's Godam in the form of young Awang (who already looks cool, btw -- totally the scene stealer!); Tara Basro's Sedhah Esti Wulan (LOVE the name!) a. k. a Merpati, Gundala's (future) wife; Pevita Pearce's Sri Asih, who, judged by her appearance(s) in the movie, will potentially be the next to shoot after this chapter; and last but not least, Sujiwo Tedjo's Ki Wilawuk, who might be the villain in next #Gundala installment. So, yeah, despite that it could've had better treatment, especially in story and fight choreo department, @jokoanwar cinematic universe always excites me and leaves me wanting for more. To balance the amount of #kee's #games she comfortably installed on my smartphone, I browsed around #PlayStore and found this gem. #RobberyBob is a simple, fun, addicting strategy game about a poor burglar who is dying to be out of the criminal life, but is still forced to do a few final jobs (inspiring, isn' it 😄). It consists of 4 levels; each levels consist of several stages with friendly difficulties: it's hard enough to challenge us, but not too hard to frustrate us. In order to complete each levels with perfect score (100%), #gamers should finish all the stages perfectly as well, and by "perfectly" I mean: 1) no detection (by security guards, residents, sleeping bulldogs, etc), 2) on time, and 3) no single treasures left behind (even if it's secret documents, old pairs of clothes, or those hard-to-find TV remotes! 😁). At first I just casually played it, didn't know about how the score worked. But when I did, it's getting like an obsession for me to get all the levels done perfectly I might sometimes get on my fellow gamer, Daughter #kee, nerves 😁. "Kayaknya yang ini udah aku selesain deh, Ma," said she, over a stage I'm trying to finish off for the 152th times? 😄 "Indeed, but it's not done perfectly yet," I replied calmly. "How rude," she responded, obviously annoyed 😁 And when she (finally) managed to finish it perfectly, she was like *micdropping* and bragged, "How about THAT, YOU with your perfect score!" 😄😄😄 Well anyway, we're in the 4th (last) level now, which scored 100% for Level 1 and 2. 6/10. Moving on with my favorite movie (poster) list. I love anything romantic & I'd prefer movies with happy ending. So, #romanticcomedy is always a genre I root for. No matter how cliche & typical they become, there's always a film that makes me come back. My fave #romcom lies on those from late 80's to early 2000's, titles probably classified as classics by now. Of all, my choice is clearly none other than 1988's #NoraEphron 's #YouveGotMail. In her golden era, #MegRyan was always my fave romcom leading lady, and she was perfect to be paired with #TomHanks. Always equally love their earlier romcom #SleeplessInSeattle, but You've Got Mail feels more relevant to me because it was the early era of emails, and Ryan's fashion was cute. I love any romantic-related aspects in this film: their meet-cute, their conflict, their banter, their love-hate relationship, their being together. 4/10. There were times I enjoyed watching (Hollywood) horror/triller movies so much that I became numb and bored by their pattern. That's when I switched to Asian horror, started with Japanesse, and was pretty hooked with their different style and intense story line. There are 2 most memorable J-horror to me: #Ringu and #JuOn #JuOnTheGrudge, but I'd like to pick the second as my favorite. I first watched it with my non-horror-enthusiast husband, not long after we're married, and it was crazy scary, even for me who was relatively familiar with (Hollywood) cliches, but apparently still a rookie to J-horror standard. 😅 I remember I was so uneasy over a scene that I fully covered my head with a blanket, but my ears still could hear the terrifying sound of "kriiieeekkk kriiieeekkk" that came from the ghost broken ribs (or something) that slowly but sure approaching its victim. The movie had made me nervous being in my own house for, like, a week, and the slightest sound of "kriek" had freaked me out. 😅 I don't fancy watching horror as much as I used to now, but apparently my old love to the genre is picked up by my oldest. Like I did, she started it from Hollywood horror, and I became her movie buddy for some of them. The last movie we watch together is #Hereditary, which IMO didn't meet the hype at all. 3/10. It's impossible to talk about my favorite motion picture w/o mentioning #DescendantsOfTheSun #DOTS. It was 2016 when I first gave it a try, out of boredom because the latest season of all (US) sitcoms I loved had ended, and out of curiosity because it was widely covered by local media. It only took a sight of #SongJoongki 's character, Capt. #YooShiJin, in the 1st freaking 4 minutes of the 1st freaking episode -- all tough, brave, confident, skillful, calculating, charismatic, leading his team to handle the politically dilematic situation, in his soldier uniform & deep, masculine voice -- for me to be instantly bewitched. And just like that, I was changed from a #kdrama #koreandrama #dramakorea #drakor virgin -- who've survived its "curse" for 40 years, to well, an addict. 😁 Willingly embrace those sleepless nights to binge-watch because I simply can't wait? Check. Feel so emotionally involved I was completely lost when it's over? Check. Read hundreds of recaps & articles, comments on related recaps/articles, join in some fan forums to discuss/fangirling, and rewatch as many as memorable scenes I could find on YouTube repeatedly because I simply can't let go? Check, check and check. Try to minimize the addiction by binge-watching other dramas? Waktu nyortir buku cerita anak2 untuk dikirim ke om mereka yang masih balita di kampung, eh nemu buku ini. Ini nih #cergam favorit Little #moonse terutama waktu belajar membaca & belajar puasa dulu. Diceritakan oleh #clarang & digambar oleh Martin, ceritanya seputar si Marty yang baru sembuh dari sakit terus dimasakin makanan enak2 oleh Nenek. Mulai dari sup ayam hangat, roti panggang coklat, telur dadar, sampai brownies. Tiap ditawarin mau makan lagi/gak oleh Nenek, Marty selalu jawab "Mau lagi, Nek!". Sampai waktu Nenek ngajak dia keluar rumah untuk menghirup udara segar, badannya melar & harus didongkel supaya bisa melewati pintu. Dan waktu udah berhasil keluar rumah, teteup dong yang dibayangin Marty makanan mulu 😅 Buku terbitan 2006 ini sampai lecek karena bolak-balik dibaca si Sulung saya itu. Although I had zero expectation when I picked them (solely based on the catchy name), I totally didn't expect it to be an Osaka-based band (never been into J-music before), let alone to be blown away by their performance! Performing at #BravaRadioHall, what instantly caught our attention is their guitarist, for his fashion and energetic, infectious moves, and later, his killer technique. Soon, we found our selves hypnotized by four of them as an entity, thanks to their awesome stage act and their non-stop upbeat funky-groovy music #TotallyEargasm. Special shout-out to the vocalist for his powerful voice, his skill to create cool sound effects from his gear, and his cute effort to speak Indonesian (it's highly appreciated). Yes, give me back the good old extravaganza flavour of pop, puh-lease!!! It's a well-executed, non-judgemental comedy about a one-day event when a celebtwit millenial (@chicco.jerikho who is magnificently convincing as a loba gaya millenial, btw) is waiting for his wife (@lalakarmela who contributes a strong cute chemistry here) to deliver their 1st child in a hospital room filled with relatives i.e: his judgemental mother in-law (played hilariously well by @sarahsechan), a stroke father in-law (even more hilariously played by Tio Pakusadewo) and his bad-ass mother Umi Emi. There are a lot of things happen during the wait who little by little gives the audiences a clearer understanding about what's going on in the family and real good laughs. Enjoyable and entertaining directing, clever scripts. Awesome ensemble. The book had me at @mututucin review a while ago. Bought it online, I'm glad it comes with this simple yet stronger version. R.J. Palacio, the author, wrote it after an incident where she and her three-year-old son were waiting in line to buy ice cream. Her son noticed a girl with facial birth defects. Fearing he would react badly, Palacio attempted to remove her son from the line so as not to upset the girl or her family but ended up worsening the situation (Wikipedia). This scene exists in the book in different setting (the park) and when I first read it, it was like a punch on my face because if the situation happened to me, I would probably do the same. #wonder gives me a brand new perspective about being nice and performing kindness to others. The book is written lightly (in a good way) but touching so you won't feel bad after reading it; infact, you will be moved and inspired. It gives us various point of views so we can understand the bigger picture of why things happened in the book. A stellar children book I would love my girls to read to embrace the new cool of this era of lies, hoaxes and bullies: being kind. After a while, we finally set our foot to one of the hottest museum in town: @mojamuseum ( #museumofjakarta). Based on some reviews I read online, I expected the place to consist of several rooms with a movie/art-related theme/memorabilia/collectible items, (thus the name, #mojamuseum), that we can explore by wearing roller skates. However, when we got there, it turned out that the concept of MOJA was modified from a museum to be a place to hangout. So, the collection were gone and the rooms were transformed to be a ballroom with various artsy photo spots that we could explore by wearing roller skates, thus the name adjustificafion to RoJa (as for Roller Skate in Jakarta) by Museum Moja. Exactly like their Insta Stories, 90% of visitors were fashionable, good looking, female youngsters in their 20's -- totally a sight for sore eyes 😁 The entry ticket includes roller skates rental for 2 hours. Better bring your own socks, although their signature striped long socks could be a cute purchase. The first time roller skaters (like us) can hold their life in some kinda wheeled board to help them balancing. Their friendly staffs are on duty to help us taking our group photo. You are allowed to explore the place without wearing roller skates, but I'd say, where's the fun. During our visit, the room was pretty crowded and some radio hits was blaring from the speaker. As long as we finished striking some poses at most of the spots, we left before our time's up. If you love roller skating so much and #anakjaksel, or live around #pondokindah, then this place is definitely for you. But, as #anakjakbar who needs to go through the nasty traffic jam throughout #arteripondokindah just to get there, once is enough. One of the latest tourist destinations in #TSI is #IstanaPanda, a house for a couple of China-origin pandas, Tai Chao (male) and Hu Chun (female). They are the breeding loan between China Wildlife Conservation Association and #TamanSafariIndonesia for the next 10 years. Once we parked in its parking lot (nearby Cowboy Show), the grand castle can only be reached by the shuttle bus through the uphill and winding road (breathtakingly beautiful scenery is guaranteed). When we get there, we're welcomed by the 5.000 square-meter area which design is inspired by the traditional Tiongkok architecture.There are a lot of stairs and hiking activity here, so better equip your self with a pair of comfy footwear. Before we're introduced to Mr. Chao and Mrs. Chun, we're directed to watch a15-minute video about how they end up being preserved in Indonesia. Anyway, if any of you can't wait to take photos with them, well, you can not, because they're placed in special indoor and outdoor cages that similar to the place they were born. But, if you want to, you can take selfie/wefie with them in their cage as the background 😅 Several instagramable spots is guaranteed. Another honorable mention of #yayoikusamaexhibition in #museummacan is her #ObliterationRoom. Visitors are invited to enter the previously all-white room and have fun covering all the furnitures and walls with bright colour dots stickers that provided by the museum staffs and will be given to you before you come in. You obviously need to queue up here as well. However, the time management is relatively friendlier: 3 minutes for 25-30 persons. You're only allowed to sit on the seats, not on the table or kitchen countertop. And if you fail to spend all of your stickers after 3 minutes, you're not allowed to bring it home. One of #yayoikusama most-enjoyed installation artwork currently exhibited in #museummacan is her #InfinityMirrorRooms. Using mirrors, she transformed the intense repetition of her earlier works on paper into a some kinda perceptual experience. Pic 3 is balloon dome with mirror room, a part of her #DotsObsession artwork series that consists of other polka dot and pumpkins (her favorite motifs) related creations like vinyl balloons (pic 1), another infinity mirror room (pic 5) and peep-in mirror dome (pic 7), which, if I'm not mistaken, is titled #TheSpiritsOfThePumpkinsDescendedIntoTheHeaven. Another infinity mirror room, the probably most posted one in Instagram, is a room where hundreds of LED lights hanging and flickering in a rhythmic pattern, called #TheSoulsOfMillionInNightYearsAway (last pic). Finally! Although I need to half-drag my not too enthusiastic family, I managed to set my foot in the currently hip #museummacan to experience the art of #yayoikusama. As the most happening museum in #jakarta, you need to queue a lot here: at the entrance, and definitely before entering the signature, instagramable infinity mirror rooms. So, first tips: better buy the tickets online from their website to skip long lines in the ticket booths. Second, make time to check the Dos & Don'ts in their IG story before your visit to avoid any misbehaviour. Some of their rules are only handphone camera is allowed (without flash), and absolutely no tripod, monopod/selfie stick. You can't bring big bag inside, either. All stick rules are set to protect the creations, though. Anyway, as a not so artsy person, I must say that I pretty enjoy her works and don't mind joining a long line only to be in the infamous rooms for 15-25 seconds, 1 minute top! Because once you're in there, it's all worth it. Since you only have 2 hours to explore the museum, includes queueing up, so better make your time worthwhile. Ticket price: IDR 100K/adults, IDR 90K/students and IDR 80K/children under 12 year olds. During our #shortgetaway to #bandung, we made time to visit #AmazingArtWorld, which is self-claimed as the biggest #3dartmuseum in the world. Well, it's debatable of course, but one thing for sure, total area of the museum is indeed pretty gigantic: more-less 16.000 m2, consists of 6.000 m2 of 2 storey-building & 10.000 m2 of parking lot that approximately fits to 100 big buses. The building it self is divided into 6 galleries, 13 zones and 150 photo spots -- far more than what we experienced in #OldCity3DTrickArtMuseum #semarang. Opening hours: Mon-Sun, 9am-9pm. Tix: IDR 80K-130K. Some trivias: 1) it's actually built by a Korean-based company that built the same museum in Hainan, China (3D Art Museum) and Manila, Phillipines (Art in Island); 2) The 3D paintings were painted by Korean senior painters. Well, it explains why there are a few billboards of South Korean idols/actors along with their popular drama posters in the entrance gate. When it's not crowded, it's so much fun exploring all the photo spots without having to queue up. Very #latepost. Another one-stop family recreational place in #bandung #lembang is @dusun_bambu #DusunBambu. Entry ticket: around IDR 15K/persons. Some highlights: 1) The pretty-looking choice of eateries that varied from huts by the lake #RestoranPurbasari; resto on the 'hill' #CafeBurangrang; the tree resto #LutungKasarung; or the conventional, simpler food court that serves huge variety of Sundanese and Bandung-signature street dishes. 2) #RabbitWonderland (extra ticket: IDR 35K/children) that gives the girls the experience of feeding rabbits and carrying them. The cages, that resemble the dwarf houses, gives us several wonderful photo spots. Bonus point: it includes #LabyrinthPlayground for younger kids. 3) #TamanArimbi that gives us breath-taking yet refreshing views; 4) Some booths up on its hill that provides other facilities with extra charge (ticket's price around IDR 35K/persons) like Shooting and Archery Range, Trampoline etc. Visitors can reach one check point to the others with their colorful shuttle cars, but we chose to walk. So yeah, wearing comfortable footwear is a mandatory. Sunday's spent pretty well by having a field trip with #kee 's first-grade classmates at @ssqpark #ScientiaSquarePark, a city park located in #TangerangSelatan #TangSel #GadingSerpong. The facilities she managed to try: Wall Climbing, #AyunanBandul (Pendulum), #SciencePlayground with the #TrampolineFitClub as the highlight. Alas, there're more she didn't: #InlineSkate (she's not interested), #WaterFeature (I forgot to bring her a change of clothes), Workout Bars and #VelocitySkatePark (more suitable for adults), and the most dissapointing one, #TheMetamorphosisOfButterflyPark because it happened to be closed for a maintenance. Double alas, as we got there around 8 am, it's too hot to explore the park after the sun is high, especially the #UniverseAmplitheatre comfortably due to the stinging heat. Therefore, the tickets are relatively overpriced for what we got (IDR 50K for each of #moonse, hubby and I, and IDR 130K for #kee including the additional trampoline tix + special socks). From the reviews I've read, the park is best visited at 5-7 am or in the afternoon (operational hours: 5 am to 21 pm) because the weather is friendlier. Oh well, if that so, as we still reside in Jakarta, I think there's a slim chance we will visit it again. #LatePost It was superfun when we finally set our foot in #IndoorThemePark @transstudio.bandung #TransStudioBandung long after it first open in 2001. Arrived around 17 p.m, and for about two hours we managed to explore most of the rides/facilities without having to queue at all because the place was almost empty! #Yay What more fun is #Kee, being more than 130 cms in height now, was qualified to try extreme rides like #GiantSwing #Vertigo and #NegeriRaksasa, leaving kiddies rides like #BlackHeartPirateShip and #PulauLiliput behind because they were not challenging enough for her anymore. Too bad its signature ride #YamahaRacingCoaster was closed due to some maintenance, and we missed some shows in #SuperHeroes4D and #TransCityTheater. My personal favorite is #Jelajah, although it's freaking cold after the rides because my wet clothes are hard to dry. My other personal fave is #DuniaLain, although having the ride only for our selves is pretty nerve-wrecking. #LatePost One thing I remember the most about our #SemarangTrip2017 #RoadTrip to #UmbulSidomukti is how scarry the route to get there. It mostly climbed up a steep slope, and, due to the holiday season, the traffic was insanely jammed. Pfiuh, if you think driving on the hairpin turns is one thing, try to do it when it's stuck for a long period of time. God bless Hubby @pramanasukmajati by not letting me drive through those nerve-wrecking steep inclines for more than, like, five minutes? Anyway. It paid off, though. As a #Semarang 's tourist attraction located in a plateau, it delivers breathtaking views once you get there. Alas, we arrived too late to enjoy all the adrenalin-pumping facilities provided ( #Kee, Mbak and me only managed to try #TriangleBridge, which is not a typical outbond facility for kids her age actually, but my 9 yo ASKED for it and did it like a champ), and too exhausted to drive up to the highest hill for the allegedly more instagramable photo spots. Entrance fee: IDR 15K includes #TamanRenangAlam (which we didn't try because we're not well-equipped and the water's too cold), and extra fees for every outbond facilities. Definitely would love to come back (preferably not in the holiday season and drive there earlier). #LatePost As a frequent visitor to #TamanMiniIndonesiaIndah #TMII it's good to know that the compound has a relatively new additional spot called @tamanlegendakeongemas #TamanLegenda. Located right next to #KeongMasTheater, it's actually a more humbled version of amusing park. Ticket's IDR 130K/person includes: a) IDR 10K deposit (that you can top up), installed in a plastic bracelet we need to wear during our visit, that, if we don't use it (to buy food, for example), will be refunded at the exit, and b) 9 facilities/rides that, if I'm not allowed to enter some of them due to the height/age rules, I can simply give the tix to the girls (My fave's #PetualanganDinosaurus where the dino-statues're given the sound and motion effect so they seem more real). We forbid to bring food & drinks, especially the store-bought ones (not the ones placed in a bottle we deliberately brought from home). To make sure we don't sneak them into the park, your bags will be heavily checked at the entrance. Unfortunately, this regulation isn't supported by its eateries. If I'm not mistaken, there are only one restaurant and a few canteens that provide the smallest size of mineral water, so it ends up relatively costly to buy food/drinks here. However, the entire place is squeaky-clean, tidy, organized, and comfy to explore. Over all, it's not bad. But I don't think we will come back. Besides, most of the facilities are more suitable for children under 6yo. #LatePost Our next stop of the #CityTour #ExploreTheCity mission is #TamanWisataAlamMangrove at #PantaiIndahKapuk #MuaraAngke #WestJakarta The tickets: IDR 25.000/adults, IDR 10.000/children under 2yo, car IDR 10.000. Operation hours: 08:00-17:00. Like the name, there are absolutely no fun rides or whatever in this place, only mangrove gardens. But, you can rent a motorboat for IDR 350K/6 persons/single trip, and a rowboat for IDR 100.000/30 minutes (I think). Sadly, you're not allowed to bring food here, either, thus no hope for a picnic with your family (you're not gonna have a nice picnic in a swamp, either, I suppose 😬). But I don't remember to have my bag heavily checked at the entrance so I think simple snacks/water bottles are okay. I my self managed to bring in a huge plastic bottle of mineral water for the long walks. The SLR/DSLR camera are also forbidden unless you're willing to pay extra IDR 1 mio/camera (but the smartphone camera is okay, and a mirrorless is probably okay, too, I think). The canteen/restaurant honestly kinda sucked due to its lack of variety, and because when we got there after a looong walks, they ran out of mineral water (but soft drinks are plenty). However, if you love taking pictures, and don't mind spending quality times (chatting & bickering) with your family while walking a big amount of distances 😬 (hey, I ain't gonna lie), it can be the place. I personally love being here due to the tons of spooky beautiful photo spots. Heaven for an #InstagramMommy like me. One tip: wear super comfy footwears. High heels are not recommended. #LatePost To explore the Jabodeta during the long holidays, I chose @upsidedownworldalsut #UpsideDownWorldAlamSutera for our first stop yesterday. When she found out the place was actually located in a two-storey shophouse, Moonse decided not to enter, and so did Hubby when he knew the tickets were Rp 100.000/adults and Rp 50.000/children over 2-12 yo. Oh well, so only Kee and I would have these historical photos to tell and remember, I guess 😬 The place turned out not so bad because: 1) there were 13 cool photo spots for you to explore, and 2) there was always a staff to assist how you posed so it would look natural. Humbly presented, it was enjoyable nevertheless. Lebih sip lagi kalau dengerin cerita tour guide-nya melalui earphone dengan kondisi kamar gelap gulita. Menariknya, sistem pembayarannya Pay-As-You-Wish, alias dibayar sesuai kepuasan peserta setelah tur selesai. Selama 3x dalam 2 minggu ini buka di sini, selalu dapat parkir di basement deket #transmart. Solatnya nyaman banget di #masjidalatief yang guede itu. Gak pernah antre mukena, antre wudu, apalagi antre shaf. Setiap minjem mukena selalu dapet, padahal kami minjemnya borongan: 2 mukena dewasa untuk saya dan #moonse, 1 mukena anak untuk #kee. Mau berbuka puasa pun gak pernah antre restoran/makanan karena bisa dilakukan di pelataran masjidnya yang luas dan bersih. First, it's fairly cheap(er), obviously: IDR 270K/package; 1 package consists of 4 (FOUR) sets of 250-ish mini bricks to build 4 shops (mine are Clothes Shop, HSBC Bank, Cookie Shop & Ceramic Shop). Second, when it came, the quality of the bricks doesn't disappoint at all. Packaging is pretty cool, instructions is easy enough for #kee to understand so she can build them by her self without any adults involved. Third, all the bricks fit perfectly to their place. Fourth, each shop has a petite LED light bulb connected to a wristwatch-sized battery box so they can be lit up at night. Fifth, each set is completed with a hook so you can hook them up in line to form a mini city block. Anyway, my little girl was ecstatic upon receiving it and she couldn't stop building ever since (a building, even more, a day!), so I decided to buy another package. This time, it consists of 4 mini sets of fast food chains (McD, KFC, Haagen Daasz, Starbucks 😬), costs IDR 175K/package and turns out it didn't come up with lighting, and size of the bricks are smaller. Games is one of my ways to build bonds with my girls, especially #kee who seems to be into games like her mama. When we play games together, we will discuss, debate, argue, laugh, tease, strategize, support, encourage, compromise, take turns, set goals, try our best to achieve it, let go, cheer up, pat each other's back. One thing: we interact, in a fun way! Example: when we're playing our #CurrentObsession: #AngryGranRun, we will debate over how we spend our hard-earned coins. Being an adult, I obviously prefer to spend it for more useful powerups to multiply coins so we'll get some more advantages (right? Isn't it rational thing to do? 😬), like Coin Multiplier, Magnet, Multi-Coins & Double Coins Ability. On the other hand, #kee, being a 9 year-old, obviously chose to spend OUR coins for... COSTUMES! 😂 (her last catch is Banana costume 😂 and now she's eyeing a... Crocodile costume, which is pretty costly and probably will force Gran to run for like, I dunno, 1.000 kms? Anyway, about the game, it's another running game that I love after #ChasingYellow, #TempleRun and all-time fave #LaraCroft 's #RelicRun. It's a fun game with one minus point: it doesn't have Levels so we need to keep running until we hit something and start over. A plus point: it gives us new set every month.
