Easy and quick recipe for homemade prune puree for baby. Prune puree is good for your baby if he or she is constipated. π© You can serve prune puree on a spoon, mix into yoghurt or porridge, mix with other pureed fx apple and pear ππ
π You will need:
Dried pitted prunes
Water to boil (enough to cover prunes)
π Procedure:
Cut the dried prunes into small pieces.
Put them in a pot with water.
Turn on medium heat. Bring to the boil and let it cook for 15-20 minutes or until the prunes have softened.
Remove the pan from the heat. Blend it together in a blender, food processor or with a immersion blender. If your prune puree is a little thinner, add a little extra water.
Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.

One week in an airtight container in the fridge
Can be frozen. Freeze in a food-approved ice cube trays, then it is easy to just pick up a few cubes at a time.
