💙 When my husband was working over holidays, I really struggled figuring out how to schedule family or holiday events when his schedule was sporadic and people want to plan ahead?
A couple of things I’ve adopted:
- Just let them plan and explain that your family will do their best to accommodate and be there.
- Sometimes we do have to say no when everyone needs to be a family and have some time to overselves.
- I finally gave myself permission to miss events and be okay with it.
