🗓️🍹 Since …2018?… getting inside at #TraderSams WDW has been a waitlist challenge, due to the (re)boom of #TikiCulture, discovery by bloggers (sorry 😬😅) and general desire to ✅ boxes on cool #DisneyExperiences at WDW. And you know what? Fair - it’s awesome and worth experiencing, certainly worth the wait. And the best part? The #TikiTerrace outside is an excellent queue, sip and wait-space.
🧟♂️🍹 However, it wasn’t always like that. Submitted as evidence, this first ever visit where there’s just two other people at the bar… #Skippers… and that’s it?! Ordered a zombie, then another. @adamcav58, long since a friend made, brought them both. This was 2016, about 16 months after opening. No, we were nowhere near day one Guests, unfortunately… it wasn’t until a #DisneyParks work trip during which some @disneyyellowshoes pals insisted on it, that the visit that began an obsession even occurred. Less than two years later we moved down here and #TraderSamsDisneyWorld become our first community space. Our ‘Cheers’ spot (where everybody knows our name, and are always we glad we came)! We went weekly. Our then 2.5 year old O learned to chant “Uh-Oa! Uh-Oa!” with the best of them … and then it was “discovered.” 👀
🫶🍹 Anyone else ever achieve “regular status,” as a #DisneyGuest somewhere? Even if you don’t live here, it’s possible… or was, at one point (before the dark times, before the… Empire).
