Isaac Bryce (@assakika) is the Unit Manager of Excavation Point Thestias. Alongside those duties he cooked and fed the entire team during the Principal Photography. Isaac is a current student of Film & Media Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. We asked him to talk about his experience on EPT. "Victoria University gave me an understanding of cinematic theory and advice that would eventually lead me to discover EPT. I got involved with the project responding to an ad that was posted on one of the many social media film groups I joined as a result of my time at Uni.
EPT is a project far grander in scale than anything I ever had a chance to partake in undergrad. From the size of the crew I helped manage to the out of this world story most film students don’t have the resources to help create. It’s a film that goes beyond the backyard of Wellington, and even Earth.
