This was a promotional still from Ringo’s film, the Magic Christian which co-starred Peter Sellers (Pink Panther Films), Richard Attenborough (Jurassic Park, Gandhi) and Roman Polanski (Chinatown, Rosemary’s Baby, Rape) and was written by Monty Pythons John Cleese and Graham Chapman! Paul McCartney wrote a theme song for the film which would later be known as Badfinger’s Come and Get It.
