Listening to Hoplites’ third album, “Antitimoroumeni,” is like calling an information technology support service for what you initially think will be a typical troubleshooting session … only for the representative on the other end to slap exclusively odd-metered rhythms on his massive belly while insisting that the only way you will get your computer to properly function again is to scare it with the harshest, most bone-chilling guitar chords you can possibly learn.
