Why this shot? Well, to me it is the quintessential view of how this Sonoran Desert goes on and on to the horizon. In addition to the sheer expanse of this desert, what speaks to me in this shot is the fertile green dip where an old windmill and cattle coral are tucked away in the bottom. This desert will collect water where it needs to sustain life.
