Happy Monday, folx. Starting off the week feeling grateful for a wonderful weekend filled with unforgettable moments. Let me share this little glimmer with you from last night.

Gifting something special that I've created with someone that has created such special music throughout my life is incredible. It's hard to articulate. Alkaline Trio are my hometown heroes, my favorite band. I've spent 23 years singing Matt Skiba's lyrics at the top of my lungs, and I'm so beside myself that he now wears a piece of jewelry I made. They all do.

When I found out that folx were creating beaded bracelets to trade during this tour, I knew I couldn't let this trend pass me by. I wanted to do more than that & make them for the band as well. It had to be more in my style of jewelry making, though. So I made matching bracelets with red howlite, white jade, and onyx (their color scheme) for each band member... and one for myself, of course. To see them all be so quick to compliment & wear something that I made was so heartwarming, and a very proud moment for me as both a huge fan and as a jewelry maker.
