Even though the sunlight hurts my head, the outside feels like a welcome hug from a lifelong friend. There is a serenity too - I can’t decide if exists in the silence or the symphony of noises and vibrations outside.

I can’t wait to get my power wheelchair hopefully soon so I can do more. Transferring and using manual chairs requires so much effort I have no spoons left for other self-care and necessary tasks.
