Sunlight broke through the storm clouds overhead, the clearing illumined by the grace of the lady, the cowardly beastmen frozen in terror and awe as Voncé drew his heirloom sword, gleaming with magic. Breaking from the treeline all around him, his Lance of knights braced for combat, lowering and readying their lances. The beast stirred from their stupor, charging forward with frothing, foamed mouths to meet their charge head on, crude scavenged blades at the ready.
