When Mother Nature creates a perfect replica of a moody ocean scape in the form of a #owyhee blue opal. This ring makes me want to step over the sterling threshold and onto that deserted beach, to feel the cold sand between my toes and the wind on my face and in my hair. There is something so starkly beautiful about the ocean when there’s a storm heading to shore, and the clear horizon suddenly darkens as storm clouds gather.
I miss my summer trips to Old Orchard Beach when life was spontaneous and oh so less complicated! With sunburned shoulders and freckled noses we’d ride our bikes to the local shop to grab some lobster rolls to eat on the beach. This blue opal brings it all back:).
