I came across this post on FB on a page called It’s CherrySue and found it necessary to share. More than just highlighting the magnificent talent this young lady has, this post is not about her Olympic accomplishments, but more so to remind each and everyone of you, my Soul Family, of the fact that when God (whichever Higher Source you subscribe to), ordains your steps in life, there’s absolutely no way you will fail. Regardless of how long it takes. Don’t give up in the middle of the battlefield, even if you feel you’ve been in battle for 15 years. Remember the following statement and please allow it to fall fresh in your spirit: The battle may be long and arduous. It might feel like it never ends. But, the fact that you’re still in a battle, it’s ALSO a sign you haven’t lost either. Did you hear me? Soooo….. keep up the good fight. The victory is yours.

Side note: Can I say how much I loveeeeeeeeeeee how Ms. Allyson Felix truly showed her power by running in the shoes of a brand she created under a sign that said “I Know My Place”. Such an elegant way of basically telling Nike GFY (if you know what it means, you know)! 😂🤣😂

Based on my research, it appears like this event was not recent, since what I found about Ms Allyson says she is now retired. Regardless, this should be an inspiration for all of you thinking about giving up.

Drop your favorite emoji in the comments if you’re someone who knows what it’s like to be in a battle and to be underestimated by people who dismisses your value.

Who needed to this reminder today?

Post credit: @itscherrysue

#resilience #innerstrength #neversettling #godspromise #blessedandhighlyfavored #inspiration #mindset #spiritualdrafi
