I needed to do some repotting today, so I got myself out in the garden 😊
I needed my Ericaceous soil, which was at the bottom of a pile in the corner at the right-hand side of the green house (against the wall). I started moving bags out, and when I moved one of them, I saw the remnants of a nest. I very quickly backed out.
I asked Chris to come have a look, and he said whatever it was, it was very small, something like a field mouse, and that it had left. For people who do not know me, I absolutely HATE rodents.
It honestly took me an hour to pluck up the courage to actually move the rest of the bags, and that was even after getting the broomstick and bashing the bags around the nest 😅
The little buggar had chewed through one of my bags of soil to make said nest, too 🤦🏻♀️
I then decided I should probably tidy the greenhouse up. It's looking a lot tidier now, and the plants are thriving 🌱 and hopefully, I won't get any more unwanted guests!
