This is my current obsession, a 1979 disco track from Italy, that really should be up there with the likes of Cerrone and Alec R. Constadinos in the Euro Disco Hall Of Fame.
Tantra was basically a project by italodisco legend Celso Valli. Most Tantra releases center around exotic themes and multiple interweaving basslines, just as on Hills of Katmandu, probably their best known song.
This 45 features a short edit of the 16+ minute original and was gifted to me 3 years ago by @vashoul_days, who found it in Malta. I had no idea what it was about, took a listen and sort of liked it, but I was obviously not ready for it at the time.
