Ny resa, Mount Everest, hösten 2024. Häng med Rosa Bussarna på en oförglömlig vandring till världens högsta berg. Vårt mål är Everest Base Camp på 5400 meter. Day 16 /17 - Last days in Katmandu and in Nepal before going back to work... Some additional exploration of Thamel and its little streets. I need to say, I also took time for coffee, food, juices, massages just to relax and rest, especially far away from busy streets with traffic jams. I took time for myself to realize what I did, the experience I lived through finishing the Anapurna circuit and it was just amazing. I am so happy I completed one of my dream for several years. 🥰😘 I felt tired after days of hiking but a very positive tireness. Aspettano, osservano, spolverano. Spolverano di continuo, quando sembra evidentemente inutile farlo? Nelle strade di Katmandu, non è pensabile evitare che micro e mini-particelle si affezionino a qualsiasi superficie, onorandola della loro presenza più o meno percepibile e occhio nudo ma fortemente persistente. Ma loro spolverano, con cura e tenacia, con dedizione e amore, con convinzione. Ma non con illusione. Innescata dalla frase sarcastica di un turista, sull’assurditá dello spolverare dei commercianti nepalesi che affollano e colorano le strade della capitale, nasce la mia riflessione sul loro spolverare accanito. È un magnifico atto di amore e di resistenza, un inno al lavoro nel suo vero significato, non di mero profitto ma di dedizione e di rispetto di un’attività che “regala” dignità e identità. Che nobilita e mobilita. Che fa parte della vita e di cui la vita fa parte, in una compenetrazione delicata da gestire, in continua evoluzione e da personalizzare. E allora lo spolverare determinato e sorridente, e paziente, dei commercianti di Katmandu mi dona un nuovo significato da associare al concetto di lavoro. Senza ora qui voler approfondire circostanze/contesto del loro vivere (il tema merita un articolo a parte e di diverso taglio) oggi voglio soffermarmi sul significato profondo e personale del loro spolverare, mettendo il luce il valore di un gesto semplice ma allo stesso tempo faticoso, che compiono ogni giorno. E che tanti di noi si sono dimenticati di fare. Spolverare i propri beni anche se destinati a essere presto ricoperti nuovamente della polvere del nuovo giorno. Spolverarli per non far accumulare strati su strati, per accarezzarli, per dedicare a essi attenzione, per ricordare a sé stessi ciò che si può offrire al mondo e offrirlo con consapevolezza amorevole. Spolverarli per spolverare sé stessi e tutto ciò a cui si tiene. Spolverarli per esercizio quotidiano di lotta contro tutto ciò che mina il proprio e altrui splendore. Spolverare è regalarsi rispetto e regalarlo a tutto ciò che riteniamo importante. Anche se ogni giorno sappiamo che rischia di essere di nuovo coperto da un velo torbido, soprattutto se ciò accade, spolverare.

Oggi per la 2C c’è stato il secondo incontro virtuale con la @ullensschool di Katmandu. I nostri ragazzi hanno preparato delle presentazioni sulle città italiane più famose per il Carnevale: Napoli, Venezia, Milano, Putignano, Viareggio, Fano, Ivrea oltre ad un poster che hanno mostrato ai ragazzi del Nepal durante il collegamento. Il poster li invitava a partecipare ad una festa in maschera in una delle località indicate sopra. I ragazzi nepalesi hanno votato il poster più bello! A loro volta ci hanno mostrato delle presentazioni e dei poster relativi ai festival nepalesi più importanti. È stato un bellissimo momento di scambio linguistico e culturale. I nostri ragazzi si sono divertiti moltissimo e gli studenti nepalesi hanno detto di aver imparato qualcosa di molto interessante riguardo l’Italia. La plaza Patan Durbar es una maravilla arquitectónica considerada por la UNESCO, Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Entre monumentos, templos y santuarios, tanto hindúes como budistas, se encuentran más de 600 estupas, 136 patios internos y 55 templos. En la entreplanta del interior de un templo se encontraban estos músicos que hacían sonar canciones ancestrales. El conjunto de instrumentos regionales, las sagradas partituras folclóricas, la luz cálida de las velas creando ese especial ambiente, los sonidos y ritmos tan inentendibles para nosotros pero trascendentales para ellos, crearon sin duda para mí unos momentos especiales. Day 16 /Part 1 - Let's explore Katmandu. After a whole day (Day 15 - no pictures) traveling by bus from Pokhara to Katmandu (10 hours), it was time to rest and relax through exploring slowly Katmandu and its historical and cultural places. Temples are so ancient and impressive - very beautiful and serene place to explore, observe and just seat down for a while. The only challenge is the pigeons... too many of them... and got scared as I have several incidents with them in the past. But, for once they were gently with me ;) #discovering #nepal #katmandu

Everest Base Camp Trek April 2024 ( 5,364 m /17,598 ft) Undreamt dream come true. Sounds incredibly exciting right? Monumental experiences filled with breathtaking landscapes, profound sense of achelievment and much much more. Yesssss it was. But, it sure did come with a price. In these 12 days of trekking we trekked approximately 8 to 12 hours a day in erratic weather conditions taking the endurance to the next level totally. В обнимку с 🚽 Непал 🇳🇵. Катманду 🏔️ Знакомство с Непалом состоялось с высвобождением Индийской еды в обнимку с унитазом посреди ночи. Разбудил наверное всех в округе своими потугами. Утро, завтрак и регидрон придали мне сил. Мы поехали делать пропуски, и докупать нужные мелочи. Купил доп обувь (легкие кроссовки) для того чтобы ногам было легче. Забываю все сказать. Я иду щупать горы. В трекинговый поход. Выше 3000м не подымался. Не знаю что меня ждет, но я в предвкушении. Побывали сегодня в трех святынях Непала 🇳🇵 Пушипатинатх. Место где прощаются с усопшими сжигая их. Ничего не йокнуло до момента когда начинают прощаться родственники. Жизнь и смерть ходят рядом. Запах горелой плоти в носу и люди, да и я стоящие в сторонки попивают чай масала. Обыденность. Ступа Боднатх священное место где можно почистить карму пройдя вокруг 108 кругов крутя барабаны вращая их правой рукой по часовой стрелке. Тоже хочу, но впереди всего этого стоит спортивный интерес, а так нельзя. Сваямбуднатх храм обезьян расположенный на горе. Красиво. Там с ребятами на турниках покачался повыеживался перед ними и ушел в закат. Очень много за такой маленький день. #непал#катманду #nepal #katmandu
