My exhibition ‘Whimsical Woods’ opens THIS Wednesday in the gorgeous @greengallery.dbg tucked away in the heart of @dundeebotanics 💚🌿 Opening night is Friday (3rd May) 4:30-6:30pm. Hope to see you there! 🌿

This curious illustrated exhibition will take a deeper look into some of my favourite trees and places in the botanical garden and give you more of the story behind the Toadstool Trail too (because it’s not just about those pretty painted sculptures)!

I’ve chosen my very favourite tree in the garden as my poster… the weeping elm. Have you spotted it yet? It’s just spectacular with its twists and curves, whatever time of year. It was the first spot I chose for the toadstool trail too so that others would notice it too and it reminds me of a very special tree from my childhood.

Swipe for a clip of my drawing video - sped up! 🌳

Those of you who know me know that there are stories and meaning behind everything I do, so I’m delighted to have been invited to tell some here, in this very special treasure of a place. 🌳🍄🌿

🌿Opening night to be announced (edit: not any more! It’s this Friday! Yay! 4:30-6:30pm) - keep your eyes peeled (I must look up that expression, why do we say that 😅).

🌿 I’ll be announcing days that I’ll be there in the gallery for blethers too.

📍 @dundeebotanics @greengallery.dbg

🕰️ Gallery Opening Hours (check with garden for gallery opening hours as they may vary).

#whimsicallush #illustration #toadstooltrail #woodland #woods #botanicgarden #dundee #dundeebotanicalgardens #dundeebotanicgarden #toadstool #mushroom #natureinfocus #naturelovers #nature #curious #weepingelm #whimsical #whimsy #lush #ilovetrees
