My four-year-old nephew created this beautiful piece of art for his daddy, who passed away a month ago. It's so gorgeous so I thought I'd share it (with his permission). ☀️
I love watching children create. There's no ego, bullshit or inhibition. It's like they're in a pure flow state, except you maybe wouldn't call it that because they haven't yet learned to be 'out of flow' or reject creativity as a time wasting unproductive expedition like some of the systems around them teach. 🌎
Creativity comes naturally to all of us, so it's important to nurture it as we grow. ✨️
I've been a bit blocked up lately because I'm in my head. My nephew made this simply because he wanted to. No worries about meaning or whether it is 'good' or 'acceptable', just an expression from his heart to a paint pen on paper as he munched on a pain au chocolat. 🤣
