Been hot fuggin minute but all of April has been an emotionally and fiscally taxing month this year. Got my harmonic balancer/dampener rebuilt and reinstalled, and while yesterday I got everything put back together I didn’t get any pictures or videos because I was just flat out tired. Maybe if the weather is nice come Thursday or next weekend I can post something; we’re currently in our rainy season here in Texas.
In the pics you can see a comparison between the after and before of my dampener, as well as the Gerry-Rigged spacer I used to install it with an Autozone rental tool. Still not 100% certain about how everything is put back together so far, so more testing and troubleshooting is to come. For now though she at least “runs” again and I no longer have that god-awful squeal in neutral from something eating into my motor mount.
