This may be a bit weird to admit, but...

I like imposter syndrome.

I think it gets a bad rep.

I read about it in at least one post per day. And it's never good.

People say it stops then moving forward, pushing for more, stepping out of their comfort zone.

Turns out, I quite like that feeling of tummy churning dread, the moment before I commit to something scary. To moving forward, pushing for more, stepping out of my comfort zone.

I've felt it a few times since I set up my content business last year. Like when I...

- Published my website.
- Started posting on socials.
- Wrote my first Blog for a client.
- Wrote my 7th Blog for the same client.
- Sat down to create a content calendar for a newsletter.
- Signed into Canva for the first time to create someone else's posts.
- Mentored 2 writers in their search for Instagram success.

I'm sure there have been more, but you get the idea. I've been anxious about quite a few decisions since getting started as a freelancer.

But I've loved every moment. I'm quite possibly a little addicted to the feeling, in fact.

Because now I know that if I'm not feeling imposter syndrome, I'm not uncomfortable. And if I'm not uncomfortable, I'm standing still.

It's only been 9 months as a freelancer, but I'm already self aware enough to know I am infatuated with the learning. I struggle to stand still. More than that, I seem to refuse to.

And so I welcome imposter syndrome with open arms.

Just me?
