Funny how my little pea brain gets hung up on things until someone or something shows me the light. We were having a discussion at one of the @bombayspicesau sessions about okra & I mentioned I just couldn’t bring myself to try it as it conjured up images of Forest Gump! Well when I was at the Dandenong Market there was okra everywhere so i jumped in. Glad I did, this is sensational. Shout out to @bombayspicesau (who while on holiday) for pointing me to @whiskaffair for the recipe. I added in some beans picked this morning and dud a squeeze of lime at end of cooking. Saffron & cumin rice with garlic naan. Yes! Back to the market I think!
