2 Vintage Halloween Candy Container Cup Party Favor Table Decorations JOLs Skull
These two diminutive vintage Hallowe'en candy containers have WICKEDLY wonderful imagery and were produced by an unknown maker. I am finding that small decorations such as these two are getting harder and harder to find.
One has a super-spooky skull-headed stick figure standing atop an orange crepe paper cup with a Jack o' Lantern face. This one measures 3 ¾” high. It has a cardboard base, and it is in excellent condition for its age.
The tiny diecut cardboard candy cup has such festive illustrations, including smiling Jack o' Lanterns with leaves, frolicking black cats, and a majestic-looking black owl. This cup also has Jack o' Lanterns illustrations on either end. This one measures 2 3/8” high. It is also in excellent condition with a faint line to the cat’s tails.
I have never seen either of these party favors before and they absolutely delightful in their small size.
These two nostalgic reminders of many Hallowe'ens gone by are a wonderful window into the festivities of many moons ago, and the care that was taken when preparing for the party.
