The best place for you, the place where you ought to be and truly belong as a follower of Jesus and a child of the most high God, is in the center of God's will for you. God's will won't come looking for you. It is going to require you to go after it and be willing to stake your whole life on a word from the God of all creation. After all, two thirds of God's name spells, GO!
Life as God intended it, happens on that narrow path, in the center of God's will.
