🍓🍓🍓 Easy layer berry cake from the family archive<br /><br />Berry season is just around the corner, and I’m excited to share this dreamy cake with you. <br />Originally called “Gittner Torte,” it comes from my grandma’s neighbor who invented it. 😉<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />* 3 Eggs<br />* 125g Sugar<br />* 125g Butter/Margarine<br />* 125g Ground Hazelnuts<br />* 3 tbsp Flour<br />* 1/2 tsp Baking Powder<br />* A pinch of Cinnamon<br />* A dash of Rum<br />* 125g Chocolate Shavings<br /><br />For the topping:<br />* Raspberry Jam<br />* 500g Fresh Raspberries<br />* 400 ml Whipped Cream<br />* 1 package Vanilla Sugar<br />* Cream Stabilizer<br /><br />Preparation:<br />1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.<br />2. Mix together sugar, eggs, butter/margarine, ground hazelnuts, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, rum, and chocolate shavings.<br />3. Pour the batter into a lined round baking form and bake for 25 minutes.<br />4. Allow to cool slightly, then spread raspberry jam and arrange the fresh raspberries on top.<br />5. Whip the cream with vanilla sugar and stabilizer, and spread it over the raspberries.<br />6.
