Honestly this was such good fun. Every second just flew by, I certainly got my pump on.
The look of the film is brilliant, so stylish...maybe too stylish at times but this era of America just looks great on the big screen. Visually there were some superb choices by the cinematographer.
Cast is absolutely killer. Ed Harris, Jena Malone and Dave Franco in supporting roles are fantastic but they really set the stage for Katy O'Brian and Kristen Stewart, on screen chemistry oozing out of them and top class performances from both. How good is Kristen Stewart?!
It seems so long since I've watched a murderous romance that it very fresh, lust and violence just go hand in hand.
The drug storyline was a little lost on me and led some scenes that felt a bit out of place and almost silly.
Couldn't recommend this highly enough! 8/10
