This is me living my best life … without Jiu Jitsu. 🙈 For the past four weeks, I wasn't able to train after an injury. I don't know yet, what it is exactly, but physiotherapy will start next week and I hope they'll figure it out quickly. It feels like a nerve is stuck and now there's constant pain in my hip. A wrong movement will make the pain unbearable for a few seconds. 💥 So I'm walking around like an old man, trying not to make it worse. 👵🏻 You've guessed it: this sucks. Just a few months ago, I had another injury. So I have to take another unplanned break on my Jiu Jitsu journey. 🛑 It's like I'm on my way to the sea for a beach holiday, but every few kilometers I have to kill time in a motel in the desert because my car broke down again. 💔 Well, it's not all bad. I'm not in the desert. 😉 I have my family that I can spend more time with. I can focus on work more (I'm currently writing a book for the German Media Academy). And since it's only been a few weeks since I've started fishing, I'm spending days with nice weather at the lake. Not catching much, to be honest. But very much like Jiu Jitsu, fishing is an art you have to learn first. 🎣 The little roach 🐟 (not cockroach!) in the picture had to go back into the water, because you're not allowed to catch them in April since they breed at the time. So I came home empty-handed today. What I took home from the lake was a sunburn on my nose though. That never happened to me in Jiu Jitsu, that's for sure. I miss rolling with the guys and girls.
