I had a version of these while skiing in Canada at the start of the year and they were delicious - I'd have with sauteed mushrooms and spinach. It kept me well fuelled for my morning on the slopes so they will likely keep you going till lunch easily. I have also made them for dinner and had with mashed potatoes and some greens - yummo! RECIPE (makes 24, 4 serves, 6 per serve) 450g lean minced turkey 10g fresh rosemary, finely chopped 60g apple, diced 1 tbsp. olive oil 4 slices short cut, rind free bacon, cooked & chopped 40g onion, finely chopped 1 tsp. sea salt 1 tsp. black pepper ยฝ tsp. garlic powder ยฝ tsp. chilli powder ยฝ tsp. dried thyme 2 tbsp. tamari 1 egg METHOD 1. Preheat the oven to 200ยฐC. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. 2. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined. 3. Form the mixture into 24 even sized meatballs and place on the baking sheet. 4. Bake the meatballs in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through. Tesladventures made it out to California for an adventure at the Pacific Ocean. A small State Campground just north of Malibu was our destination and we were surprised to see we had the beach almost to ourselves. After setting up on day one, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the ocean and had a peaceful campfire. The next day we did some strolling on the sand, had a hearty sandwich brunch, and finished the day with an extravagant steak and shrimp dinner. Our last adventure day was just as beautiful as the first with some relaxing yoga on the beach before packing up for our departure. Where will we adventure next?
