Let me make the drawing make sense 😂😂 Joshua 1:9 says… “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”” The closest picture I could pull towards that was what a wireless network can be to a phone. Whether the phone picks up the signal or not, it’s still there. You should be able to get internet access from almost anywhere in the world as long as your mobile device is enabled for that. So in some sense, it’s “everywhere”. God reminds us that He is with us wherever we go and that’s why you shouldn’t be afraid. The all knowing, all powerful creator of the heavens and the earth who is not ashamed to be called your God says He is with you. It’s time to walk with that consciousness and do great things. Vulnerable post but doing it for accountability and hopefully encouragement to someone out there. 🫶🏻 It has been just a little over 2 years since I finally got serious about my health and started intermittent fasting, eating healthier, stop snacking at night and making exercise a priority. I discovered I love power walking / jogging. 🏃♀️ ⚠️2 years ago I realized I was overeating to fill the void of grief. I knew I had to do something drastic because: 1) I hated what I saw in the mirror 2) I felt sluggish and gross most of the time 3) Went to bed feeling sick and my heart pounding 4) Heart palpitations in the middle of the day 5) All around unhealthy ⚖️ I lost 50 lbs last year and a year later I'm proud to say I'm keeping it off which is a HUGE deal for me. 👏🏻 I feel like I give up on things easily, especially when it's too hard or when it comes to being healthy. I slacked off this winter in a bout of depression but I felt like God kicked me back into gear by the end of February to stop wallowing, choose joy, remember what I have in Christ, and go jogging again to release those endorphins. 💪🏻 😚 I feel so good when I'm taking care of myself. I may be getting older but that's no excuse to give up and stop living. I'm way healthier than I ever was in my 20's and 30's 🙌🏻 🌟 So don't give up! Whatever you're struggling with, God's got you! I know you're tired. I know you are discouraged. I know you want to give up. It feels like you can't keep your head above water. The waves of life crashing around you, relentless. I know you are tired of hearing neat little Christian phrases tied in a cute bow. I know you feel angry and your heart feels hard towards God and His ways. I know you don't understand what He is doing right now. I want to tell you I see you doing hard things. I see you keep going even when you don't want to. I want to acknowledge that life can be so hard and overwhelming. Situations and seasons can be so difficult to walk through but what I know is true is that the pain you are feeling right now won't last forever, even though it feels like it will. Things will shift. Things will change. Your heart will soften and by the grace of God you will still be standing. He will help you walk through that which you thought was impossible. And one day you will look back with tears in your eyes and cry out: thank you Lord, because you will see the whole time He was there with you. He was always working. I don't know when and I don't know how but I know that God will come through for you. I can’t speak on details but all I will say it’s going to be one blessed evening especially after last evening in the studio, I was convinced that God had placed his hands all over it. CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD- ON ACCOMPLISHMENTS I woke up one morning feeling low, sitting on my couch, lost in thoughts of underachievement. Then, I heard a gentle whisper within, “Why do you look down?” It was God. “I just feel like I have not accomplished much,” I responded, feeling the weight of my thoughts. “Look back on your journey. Remember all the places you’ve worked, the value you added to those companies and the experiences gained, the schools you graduated from, all the courses you have taken to improve yourself, and the businesses you’ve started. You learnt from them and grew as a person. You’ve come so far, and each step was guided by my hand. You should be proud of yourself. I am proud of you.” Tears welled up in my eyes as gratitude flooded my heart. “Thank you,” I whispered, my voice choked with emotion. That day, my perspective shifted. I began to see my life through a different lens, one coloured with gratitude and recognition of my accomplishments, big and small. And in that moment, I felt a sense of peace wash over me, knowing that I was exactly where I needed to be, guided by the loving hand of God. Life can get pretty busy at times, But in all the chaos, it’s important to take a break and look back at how far we’ve come. We often forget the progress we’ve made. So, take a moment to think about your journey. You’ll be surprised by how much you’ve achieved, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the person you’ve become. This verse highlights the importance of focusing on the present day, trusting that God will provide for our needs and handle the future. 🚨 Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." 📣LongPost In 2021 I struggled to see the value of my life due to my near death experience. The confusion and decisions that I made became overwhelming regarding the gastric sleeve surgery and everything that stem from it. We received an achievement award for crown club 10 and I couldn’t begin to express gratitude because I was in pain. Despite the lack of celebration, the award remained a symbol of our collective efforts as a team and I didn’t find the honor in celebrating myself nor team because I felt failure. It wasn't until last night that I picked up the award and truly reflected on what it represented. For the first time, I saw the achievement for what it was—a testament to our perseverance and dedication. It reminded me that, regardless of the trials life throws our way, hard work and commitment should not go unnoticed. Full circle moment (Long Post Alert, but worth the read) 🙏🏾 . My life has changed so much in the last 7 years! Those who’ve known me personally since then know some of my testimony… . I was married in April 2017. We were trying to conceive but were unsuccessful and then my husband took ill in 2018. I became a caregiver in my early 30’s while trying to maintain a full time job. No one really knew the extent of what went on at home (and still don’t). I sat by his hospital bed day in and day out! In sickness & health was truly tested… In 2019, he succumbed to his illness of congestive heart failure.. . Feb 2020, I decided to move to a new city where I knew no one. I drove 21.5 hours from Baltimore, MD to Dallas, TX with my Chevy Cruze packed from top to bottom and my puppy sitting beside me! God told me I needed to go & I had no idea why…but I went! Covid started and I was away from my family…I guess that was my season of isolation! . March 2020, I met the love of my life & we married March 2022! 💍 . I lost my best friend in November 2023 & still don’t understand it! 🥺 . My husband & I found out we were pregnant in July 2023 & had our baby boy March 2024!👶🏾 . I never questioned God through any of this process, but I felt the need to obey without question! Through heartbreak and pain, isolation and then gain; God has answered so many prayers for me! . When I moved, I kept hearing Him say the word, Expeditiously! And He did it just like that! . You may be waiting on a prayer to be answered and wondering when it will come! Believe me, if God said it; He will do it! Make sure you’re obedient in your waiting season & He will not withhold His blessings from you! Newly released dashcam footage of an accident that left a massive semitruck dangling from a bridge earlier this year is going viral — and for good reason. The shocking footage of the Kentucky four-vehicle crash, which unfolded March 1 on the Clark Memorial Bridge in Louisville, Kentucky, is absolutely terrifying. The accident allegedly took place after Trevor W. Branham, 33, lost control of his vehicle, crossed into the wrong lanes, hit another car, then struck the semitruck in question. Sydney Thomas, 26, was reportedly driving the semitruck, which was sent off the bridge and dangling — an unimaginable scenario. Fortunately, Thomas wasn’t injured in the astonishing event.
