At times we think God never answered our prayers of dreams and hopes. However, if we take time to trace how He worked in our life we realize that He did answer. Often, we wanted our prayers to be answered in our own timeline because we wanted to receive those good gifts. We forget that God has His own timing and plans for us. He knows if what we are praying and hoping for will do us good. He knows when to give the gifts and if it aligns to His will. Good gifts from God take time and His timing when to fulfill those gifts are different from our timeline. We need to remember that He has gone before us and He knows the future. Therefore, every gifts align to His purpose for us. Personally, there were many dreams that God placed in my heart when I was a child. Some were fulfilled by God immediately with a “yes” and some with an outward “no”. Also, many of my dreams and hopes that I thought were impossible to happen took years to be answered because God needed to prepare me for those gifts so I can appreciate those gifts and use it well to bless others. Honestly, there are still many dreams and hopes that I am still praying for to God. At times it is hard because of the “wait” but I hold on to God’s promises that when the time is right He will make it happen. I continuously believe that God is a good God, He is willing and able to give me good gifts that is according to His will and will be good for me. Dear friend, keep praying for your hopes and dreams. Hold on to it unless you receive a “no” from God. May you have patience, joy, satisfaction, and confidence in God during the waiting season. MY STORY, MY JOURNEY. If ever there are the greatest lessons I have learned and still learning, they are these facts: 1). Life is dynamic. 2). Tomorrow is pregnant. 3). Be humble 4).Treat everyone with dignity and respect. 5). God who is at work in your life, is also at work in the lives of others. 6). The only difference is timing. Life has a way of changing circumstances in ways we can't always predict. The person who seems to be in a lower position today might be the one who offers you a helping hand tomorrow. Every individual is on a unique journey, and just because someone is struggling now doesn't mean they won't succeed in the future. Your kindness and respect can make a significant difference in their life, offering hope and encouragement. God, who is at work in your life, is still at work in the lives of others. The only difference is timing. We all have our own paths and timelines, orchestrated by a higher power who knows what is best for each of us. While you might be experiencing success and blessings now, someone else’s moment could be right around the corner. It’s important to remember that our current status is not a measure of our worth. By treating everyone with dignity and respect, we acknowledge their potential and humanity. We affirm that everyone deserves kindness, regardless of their current situation. In doing so, we not only uplift others but also enrich our own lives with compassion and humility. Be mindful that today's circumstances are temporary and ever-changing. Extend a helping hand, share your blessings, and be an instrument of God's grace in someone else's life. I've been hungry for God's Word and direction lately, so much so that I've signed up to an online bible college of sorts and am currently working through some early modules including Women's Ministry. I prayed for more conviction, more accountability, I asked that God assist me in being made new this dying to myself, I've been devoting more time to studying His Word and I've had gentle insights into why it's so important that I never look back (like Lot's wife did), and to keep my eyes on God. It's a strange experience in that on the whole I am so much happier and at peace with my pathway and life with Jesus now, yet there are the odd moments where I catch myself thinking about how I once dedicated myself to my old ways, and praying for full release and comfort in my present moment. I know God's calling me to deeper study, deeper knowledge, to a deeper relationship with Him, and also to a deeper commitment to the spiritual welfare of our sisters in Christ and also our children. I know that this is why I always found my true self when teaching children religious studies, it's a calling God placed on me. My worldly ways mean it's still a battle at times to fully surrender to God's plan and to not try and make it happen myself. I'm literally in uncharted territory and to say that I feel under qualified to do this work on ministry is an understatement. 25 years ago today my dad and the crew of STS-96 launched to space on the Space Shuttle Discovery. My dad was the pilot for the mission. They were the first crew to dock with the International Space Station and were jokingly referred to as the construction crew. This was my dad’s first space shuttle mission and it was an amazing experience watching him launch into space—standing there with my mom and brother. I remember there being a perfect shadow in the clouds, which is a very rare thing to happen during a launch, and it happened again on my dad’s second mission as well. Thankful for the sweet friends in this crew too. I definitely find it no accident that my family went to the @spaceexplorers.theinfinite yesterday. It's taken me a few days to find the right words to fully describe my experience on the set of Vindication. The truth is, I can't put all the feelings I was feeling into words. I haven't been in front of the camera for a good long while (Child actor here 🙋♀️)and I thought I had put that part of my life aside for the time being not expecting to have this surprise opportunity to audition for a role in my favorite show ❤️ Re-entering that world as an adult after I had gone through health problems and backslides that had forced me to put acting on hold was extremely emotional but so rewarding. I felt like I was home again. Thankful to the crew of Vindication for welcoming me with open arms and making my return to acting an unforgettable experience. It's been an incredible journey so far. I am honored to work at @redeemtv1 because I get a behind the scenes view on how the series is made. From the writing of the scripts, episodes getting read and approved, to editing the scripts, script read throughs and revisions, promoting, creative meetings, fund raising, casting, eventually filming, and so much more after that! The amount of work and dedication that's put into this show is truly incredible. Not only did I get to see all these brilliant people in action on set but I got to know many of them and see their hearts.
