Here's one from the vault. I'm going to say 2016 or '17. I call it Toddler In The Tub. An old favorite of one of my nephews ecstatically enjoying a bath bomb. This was one of those "Quick! Grab the camera!" photos. What I see here, why I took the picture, It's as if he's reaching into a vortex. A cosmic portal of some kind and all of the broken up bits of bath bomb are chunks of an asteroid field. The vast wonder through a child's eyes. (Continued. 3/3) Nothing could have made the still moment any stranger. Refraining from laughing I managed enough vocals to retort "what?" The little man's expression turned violent. Though little he's still a man. A scarred man you didn't dare laugh in the face of. He grunts wrapping his fingers around the grip of a club. " I've traveled too long and too far for your foolery. Where is the blasted key forged by my people?" As he was speaking, his shrill tone squealed, as he shrieked his tiny fingers danced around the handle. The brow over his glare sank. "This world and all that you know ____" There is a knock at the front door. Like the snap of fingers to the end the trance, at the knock at the door the demonstration simulation will end. As so it does. The pitch black abyss of a child's room brightens to a dimly lit white room, deserted of all life, with an emergency light flashing in the middle of the rooms ceiling. The room and its contents visible. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Imagine a world where animals could talk. Who doesn't love that? We were all, at some point in our lives, addicted to our favourite cartoon where dogs talked - Hey Scooby and Dollar! Don't forget the Ice Age animated movies, Open Season or Madagascar movies and many more. Coming to literature, published in 1945, this book is a political satire which takes us into an imaginary world where the Manor Farm animals, tired of the careless and tyrannical behaviour of their human master Mr. Jones overthrow him and boycott every man-made thing to run the farm the way they want. 'All Animals are equal' is their slogan. Will animal equality be maintained? Read the book to know. This book is one of my favourites. The language is really simple and amusing. Recommended to those who love to learn about history because this novella is a reference to the Russian Revolution. Orwell has portrayed a grave issue of his time in simpler words for everyone to easily understand. (No doubt this book got banned) 😬 Also, those who are new at reading novels and want to develop a liking or a habit of reading should definitely give this book a go. I would give Animal Farm a 4/5 rating just because I haven't read enough books in this genre so far to give this a full 5-star rating. There are times that you feel so peaceful about life because everything will be moving just fine the way you plan it. The truth is we all desire to feel this way always. Yes we all desire to get things easily at our beck and call but the sad truth is that life is not always predictable. Do the seemingly successful and big shots feel discouraged at times? The truth is yes they do feel discouraged because they are humans too. But they find a way of encouraging themselves. It is normal to feel discouraged but you don't need to stay discouraged. You need to think deep and remember your win periods. Whether you are a business person, an employee, an employer, a student, an artisan. Whatever your field is just know that life is beautiful and therefore should not be taken for granted or too seriously. I debated about whether I should respond but then I remembered my own trials and tribulations as a young Black male teacher, who was determined to make a difference in my students’ lives. Just like me, he has the passion and the determination. He cares for his students. What he needs is TOUGH LOVE and MENTORSHIP and not a professional death sentence. As I watched the clouds raining, moving, and blending with each other, and all of a sudden a thunderstorm, it was early in the morning, and a part of me wanted to go back to sleep, whereas another part wanted to stay, to watch them screaming, fighting, and bleeding. The next moment, I ran towards my terrace to feel the cold breeze knocking at my doors, snatching my soul from my body. After a while, the clouds became dark and angry, to punish us as they weren't the clouds of the rainy season; they were unseasonal, and they had the capacity to destroy humans, like our emotions deep inside our minds have the capacity to destroy us, to consume us.
